Mayadinya‑in‑the‑Pines

76 Acres

Mayadinya‑in‑the‑Pines protects over 71 acres of high-quality habitat, including 60.4 acres of upland pine forest that supports diverse wildlife. Nine species identified in the South Carolina State Wildlife Action Plan have already been documented on the property, with strong potential for additional species of conservation concern.

The property also provides approximately 0.7 miles of scenic views along Bluffwood Road, helping preserve the rural character of this corridor and enhancing the public’s experience of the landscape. Much of the land has been designated as a Special Natural Area, with ongoing efforts to restore native sandhill habitat through the careful use of prescribed fire, reflecting the landowners’ long-term stewardship.
