Boogie & BBQ: Dinner and Dancing Under the Stars

Join the Aiken Land Conservancy for an unforgettable evening at historic Winthrop Field—where great food, music, and community come together under the stars.

Begin the night with cocktails and conversation at the historic Clark Barn before heading over to savor an exceptional barbecue dinner featuring Rodney Scott’s celebrated Whole Hog BBQ from Charleston, SC. Sip and socialize with friends old and new, then dance the night away to the sounds of DJ Kenny Ray. This lively gathering blends relaxed Southern flavor with an elegant outdoor setting, creating a night defined by great flavors, great music, and great company.

During the evening, we will proudly present the Annual Aiken Land Conservancy Award to Dacre and Jenne Stoker, honoring their extraordinary contributions to land conservation in the Aiken community.

Unable to attend, but still wish to support our conservation efforts? Consider making a donation in honor of the award recipients. Simply click the “Donate” button at the top of this page and include In Honor of Dacre and Jenne Stoker in the Instructions to Merchant section. Every gift helps protect the land that makes Aiken so special.

Bring your friends, enjoy incredible barbecue, and make memories that sparkle under the stars!

Meet the Chef

Rodney Scott is a nationally acclaimed, James Beard Award–winning pitmaster whose whole hog barbecue honors the land, the craft, and the traditions of the South. Known for preserving one of the region’s most time-honored culinary traditions, he cooks whole hog barbecue low and slow over wood embers. His approach begins with deep respect for the land, reflected in everything from the wood he burns to the farms that raise the animals he serves, and mirrors the Aiken Land Conservancy’s commitment to protecting South Carolina’s natural beauty and heritage.
