On November 30, Aiken Land Conservancy will hold its tenth Clays for Conservation event. This is a signature fundraiser for ALC and is held at the prestigious, state-of-the-art Palmetto Shooting Complex in Edgefield, SC (535 Gary Hill Rd).
The event offers instruction for beginners, a competition for experienced shooters, a juniors division and tours for spectators. Medals are awarded for Best Adult (Man and Woman), Top Scoring Team (Men and Women), Best Beginner and Best Junior, as well as Best Senior (70 and over). Registration for experienced shooters and spectators begins at 10:30 A.M., followed by a safety talk, and ends with a Southern-style barbecue catered lunch and the “Last Shot” Bar with Bloody Mary’s, beer, and wine.
Live Music by Local Talent Brodie Porterfield
We’re excited to announce that this year’s 10th Annual Clays for Conservation will feature live music by talented local guitarist Brodie Porterfield. His acoustic performances will provide the perfect backdrop for a day of fun, friendly competition, and community gathering.
Join us for great music, delicious food, and a memorable day supporting land conservation in Aiken. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy live entertainment while making a difference!
